Leave Delaware Tracker: Datadog Files to Leave Delaware for Nevada, Citing Unnecessary Litigation Friction, As Another Company Flees America’s First State

Dear Friends,

Datadog, valued at nearly $46 billion, has filed to leave Delaware for Nevada. The company is leaving, citing Delaware court unpredictability, which comes with the potential for unnecessary friction that comes with litigation.

Companies have been leaving Delaware and your Coastal Network is keeping track as companies leave or plan to leave Delaware, following large companies including Elon Musk’s Tesla and Phil Shawe’s Transperfect. More companies are finding reasons to leave Delaware.

Respectfully Yours,
